The Siemens CP 343-1 (part number 6GK7343-1EX30-0XE0) is a communications processor designed to connect the SIMATIC S7-300 automation system to Industrial Ethernet networks. It supports various protocols, including ISO, TCP/IP, and PROFINET IO, and can function as both a PROFINET IO controller and device. The module features an integrated 2-port switch (ERTEC 200) with two RJ45 connectors supporting 10/100 Mbps speeds, facilitating flexible network configurations.
